VOGUE CHINA JUNE 2010
This photoshoot was brilliant. A good mix of springy pastels mixed with the rough wood textures of the set. Completely gorgeous.

TODAY'S HOLLYWOOD VS. OLD HOLLYWOOD
From Posting a few days ago about Rita Hayworth, it really got me thinking about how much i wish Hollywood was like that now.
These days, it's all about who's dating who, and who's going to check into rehab next. We've lost that elegance and classy lifestyle. Old Hollywood hosted such style inspirations that are still evident today. Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Grace Kelly. And even more unknown stars like Hedy Lamarr, Ava Gardner, Bette Davis, and Jean Harlow (that is - unknown to today's youth). All of those women radiated beauty and elegance.
But not all hope is lost. Although the 'A-list' today may include train wrecks like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Miley Cyrus (oh dear...), we still have some stars that also share that same beauty and elegance that was so prevalent in old Hollywood.
Here are some of my favorite elegant stars of today:
1. Carey Mulligan
Newcomer Carey Mulligan seems to have a great head on her shoulders, and is also always dressed amazing. Plus, having Shia LaBeouf as your boyfriend doesn't hurt either.
2. Kiera Knightly
Being the face of Coco Mademoiselle for Chanel, of course she has to be on this list. She's also one of the best dressed celebrities i know.
3. Anne Hathaway
Not only is her talent so versitile, but she ALWAYS is on the best dressed list. The girl could rock anything.
4. Emma Watson
The face of burberry, very talented at what she does, and a college student on top of all of that.
Who do you think should be added to this list?

CAT EYE
Why the title? I don't know. I'm a little obsessed with this though... i secretly wish i could've lived in the 50's just so i could wear cat eye glasses all the time and not be weird for it.

MARC JACOBS NEW AD CAMPAIGN
Wow. Marc Jacobs, you amaze me. This ad campaign is a little out there, but i love it. He's got a great body. Too bad he's gay...

Remember Me by Karl Lagerfeld
This short movie is surprisingly intriging. A little bland, but i love seeing all of my favorite faces get together for a short film. Especially Abbey Lee Kershaw, I'm in love with her.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
RANDOM INSPIRATION
