OUT OF CONTROL

Crazy cool heels, I DIE for these all. I wish I could pull them all off.

BACKSTAGE: VERSACE S/S 2011

Bold colors, strong cuts, and geometric prints galore! Donatella Versace knocks it out of the park again! Well, then again, when has Versace ever gone wrong? Never. This year proves no different. A big contrast compared to the flirty feminine looks from last year's Spring 2010 Collection, but comparable to the F/W collection that also featured bold colors and strong cuts. This collection seems to be perfect for the strong women who isn't afraid of clothing.

One of my favorites!

MCQUEEN TRIBUTE

(Kate Moss at the McQueen Memorial held this morning)

If you're like me, whenever you hear the mention of McQueen - your mood immediately turns somber. This morning in London, those in the fashion industry and other's that loved the designer gathered to mourn and celebrate the life of Alexander Lee McQueen. It's been about 7 months since the tragic death of the fashion genius, and the fashion world is still talking about him. As I've said many times before, McQueen was a fashion genius. The clothing he designed was so majestic and creative, no one can ever replace McQueen or even come close to following in his steps. Anna Wintour said this morning about the designer, "As a kid he loved nothing more than sitting on the roof top and watching the birds fly by. His was an 18-year career of harnessing his dreams and demons".
