VENA CAVA S/S 2011

For some reason, while looking at this line - (on my iPod, and sadly not in person) - I got the feeling that it gave off the resort wear vibe. Not all of the pieces, but a lot of them just reminded me of summer and being outside. Sadly, those days of summer have come to an end. But, fall weather is my favorite so I'll be okay.

This line, among a lot of others, reminded me of the "classic American" look. Minimalism has been a huge word in the past 2010 fashion year, and it looks like it isn't going away anytime soon. All of this collection seemed to embody minimalism. But one look on the other hand, just made me think of something completely different.


Am i right?

Tara Subkoff launched a line of re-made thrift store clothes in 2000. Now, in 2010 Tara is re-inventing herself as a designer and proves that she's evolved into an amazing designer.

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

Yes ladies & gentlemen, fashion lovers all around.. It is that time of the year once again. It's the SECOND annual fashion's night out in New York in 6 DAYS! My how I would absolutely die to go, and watching this PSA gave me a heart attack of excitement.

FASHION WEEK MUST HAVES

I would dieeee to attend Fashion Week. But say I actually got the chance to attend, this is what I would have with me:

1. Big Bag

This Alexander Wang leather tote is perfect for carrying around all of your essentials.

2. Sunglasses

Channelling Anna Wintour in these vintage Christian Dior frames.

3. Heels

Of course, you have to have the amazing heels. These Christian Louboutin heels are perfect, they're pretty neutral in the way that they can go with just about anything. They can be dressed down, and up.

4. Jacket

I'm just in love with this jacket. No matter the occasion, I need this now.

5. LBD

Something like this Preen draped LBD would be perfect for after parties or other Fashion Week events.
